PRYM Newey (M) Sdn Bhd, which produces hard haberdashery products in Tanjung Kling in Malacca, has invested an additional RM26.3 million to expand its operations by occupying an adjacent abandoned factory.
With the expansion, the company with headquarters in Stoelberg, Germany, will become one of the world's largest producers of haberdashery (pins and safety pins).
Managing director Les D. Kinmond said the factory is expected to produce seven billion hard haberdashery products by the end of this year.
